I plan on posting quotes a lot in the future, as I have already posted some. But, I’d like to explain the idea behind the types of quotes I will write and share with you and how they will be different than the majority I see.
Inspirational quotes are awesome. Sometimes it’s hard to find the right words on our own and these quotes can be a great help. I see a lot of them on social media sites and the like and I think it is great.
My quotes that I will write and share with you will most likely be inspirational type quotes as well. The difference with mine is the wording. Instead of things like, ” When you reach for…”, I will write things like, ” I will reach for…” Do you see the difference?
By wording in the first person it becomes more empowering. “I will try to change the world.” is a good example. That is what I just wrote. What I would see on the internet in my experience would say, “You can try to change the world.” What I hear is someone else telling me what I can do. Don’t get me wrong, I like that quote, but with mine, I’m telling myself that I will try. I am taking the responsibility over what I am capable of.
I don’t want any misunderstanding. I am in favor of motivational, inspirational quotes. All I am doing is taking it one step further and adding another type into the mix.
